Development Manager (Technical):
The Development Manager, who will most probably be a qualified quantity surveyor, is responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination and implementation of the Association’s development programme. They will act as co-ordinator of the professional teams appointed by the Association and keep the Development Committee up-to-date with progress on development projects. They must ensure that all available funding is maximised to the full. They will also seek feedback from colleagues in housing and property services in order to ensure that future housing developments cater for relevant housing needs.
Business Development Manager (Kirkgate Holdings):
The Business Development Manager is responsible for promoting the growth and development of the Association’s subsidiary, Kirkgate Holdings, by ensuring that new opportunities are exploited and available funds maximised to the full. They will prepare Kirkgate’s business plans, development programme, and set budget targets for approval by the Board. They will be responsible for negotiating with developers to ensure that any deal offered represents best value for money and for the marketing of all Kirkgate properties. They will also analyse feedback from clients to ensure that future developments reflect a continuing process of improvement.
